Just thought of a nice "merk" for Rio but only if the unthinkable happens...

...England win the World Cup. An hour or so after the final whistle one of Rio's plants comes in dressed as a FIFA official and explains that they just investigated Owen Hargreaves' eligibility and it turns out that he is not eligible to play for England, and subsequently they have been disqualified from the competition.
