Isn't that the description for most promoted sides recently

If you remember in the first Farke promotion we were described as playing the best football for any bottom side - that was before the 'smelling out the PL' type of comments.

I remember walking away from Old Trafford in 2004 and a United supporter saying that if we played like that we'd have nothing to worry about.

Teams like Ipswich, teams like us, rarely play abysmally, but as we've seen too often, it's the mistakes that you get away with in the championship that kill you in the PL. And most newly promoted sides make them, no matter how well they've done in the remaining minutes. That's probably why they haven't had the whooping - they've done enough to be competitive, but one mistake needs two responses and they rarely get that opportunity.

Pray for a super Euro league or whatever.
