did you see the little interview with Mackenzie Crook on iPlayer looking back at D?

he said initially he wrote it with essex in mind but then on location scouting they found what they were after in suffolk and he doesnt know why he didnt then edit the writing to say it was suffolk rather than pretend. that borderlands area though, lovely stuff. love that programme immensely.
