I just do not understand the aversion the club has on signing from the UK, specifically L1 and championship.

Firstly there is plenty young quality around. It’s just that they might not have a fancy name.

Secondly the homegrown rule is clearly becoming a problem for the manager.

Thirdly the changing room. We slowly getting rid of any voices and characters. The changing room needs a core. The championship is a slog and you need a core of players that understand what is required. This is my biggest frustration we have been fair too soft. Our away record is utterly pathetic.

We are playing roulette abroad trying to find rough diamonds that can bring huge profits but not addressing what is needed in the immediate. Despite what the pinkun boys might say but the summer recruitment strategy was a shambles. 60+ goals and assists were replaced with Gordon, Crnac and Slimane. Utterly mental to think that would be suffice (that was never going to work out)
