Is there any money in it outside of the top 16 in the world?

If nobody cares about darts in the US why would people care about playing it seriously.
Especially if there is no serious money in it.
If there was money in Cricket in the US, they would be the best team in the world.....it wouldn't be close.
But they earn millions from baseball instead...
