These are only made-up numbers

but should we really be spending £250k (£10k pw) on helping Liverpool & Villa develop their youngsters?

If we all accept that this season is transitional then wouldn't that cash be better spent on:
a) a new contract for Angus?
b) a new contract for Nunez?
c) someone else designed for the long-term?
