Remember it well. I ended up playing at outside right for Brighton... only

I'd just eaten an entire family sized Christmas Pudding and had two pints pre game. It did hamper my performance... the highight of which was my throwing up over the Norwich midfielder, Bertie "Bertie" Berts after a clash in the centre circle. The lowlight... I was wearing shorts several sizes too small which resulted in a split and me playing the last ten minutes with the family jewels on display.
