Apparently the last time Forest were as high at Christmas as they are now was in 1994
I’ve looked at the league table at this time and they were sat 4th before Christmas 1994.

At the same time we were on 30 points, what you would now describe as virtually safe for that point in the season.
We finished the season on 43 points, getting 13 points from the remaining 23 matches.
What a collapse - it felt horrific at the time and no wonder
