No thats not how it works under the fast track process

I presume we received the charge on the Monday.

We will then have had until 6pm on the Tuesday to respond to it. Decision is then usually issued the next working day.

It appears, we responded earlier in the day than that and the FA then somehow managed to get their panel to review and issue a decision on the same day. I've seen some suggestion via the Pinkun that the decision was issued barely minutes after we submitted our response but do not know if that was true.

Ironically we "may" not have helped ourselves by responding earlier in the day on Tuesday than was necessary (although maybe they set us an earlier deadline) as had we responded at 6pm they no doubt would not have been able to issue a decision before the match. That said, he would only have missed QPR at home instead of Pompey away so I guess up for debate as to whether that would have been better.
