all conflicts stop in a day tbf

even the hundred years war which took place intermittently from 24 May 1337 until 19 October 1453. the intermittent bits were for the pesky black death interruption which offered some welcome respite from the fighting or when the scots got uppity so we took a well earned break from fighting the french for a good old fashioned scrap with the jocks. this in turn left the door open for the french to regain some of the territory we had plundered in the low countries so we had to go back and win that back all over again. eventually time took it's toll and we lost pretty much everything apart from the pale of calais. see, if we hadn't given that up we could of stopped the boats easy but queen mary 1 f**ked that up by taking her eye off the ball and having a go at spain not the wisest thing to do beans as she was married to the king of spain, phillip the prudent (not simon lappin) at the time.
