Just back from Frankfurt

What a f**king great weekend - met up with DefConOne and some of his mates and some mates of mine coming in from Geneva and assorted England fans, Germans, Aussies, Yanks (only had to put one right on usage of the word "soccer"), Japanese, etc., etc. I've drunk a lot and laughed a lot and even managed to win one of The Raunheim Invitational penalty shoot-outs (although DefConOne won twice, but keeps the trophy with the Canaries)

Seen most of the games and most have been really good open affairs - the only really bad one was Englands ... And very little trouble. German papers reported 65000 England fans in town and 12 arrests
