I got caught doing 62 in a 30

And attempted to defend myself in court saying i need car for job, will lose job if banned, just moved out with girlfiend would have to move back home, blah blah all the usual s**t!

I was given a ?375 and 6 points.

The 6 points were given as i already had 3, therefore i am on 9, so have to drive carefully for 3 years as not to lose my license. The Magistrates saw this as more of a detterant than banning me for a month and giving me my license back clean to drive like a c**t and do it all over again!
