Yes. Establishment left in the US is very different to everywhere else.

If anything, Dems are centre right.

More Ken Clarke, David Cameron, Rory Stewart etc.

Likewise, Republicans have always been further to the right than most European parties of that ilk.

But now it's off the charts of course.
