Once they install all their own people throughout federal government, they presumably aren't going to let the democrats win again whatever the votes say. I don't think saying it's a threat to democracy is an exaggeration. A president with immunity from prosecution and no morals and control of senate and congress. They can do whatever crazy stuff they want
