For what its worth my tuppence of advice

all dogs need some sort of exercise every day and they go from expensive to very expensive in running costs

I have a labrador and would estimate it costs me £100 a month plus ( insurance £30, vet fee £15 plus food 2 tins a day plus treats , toys for mental stimulation etc)

On the plus side , it will give you a reason to leave the house every day , companionship , and help with any mental health issues
