Clearly a full season gives a much better picture of the strength of a squad but to say there is zero correlation to the first 12 games is also incorrect.
As I pointed out, after 14 games last season, the top 5 was pretty much how it ended.
Some teams will get better some will be worse but the overall average correlation is strong.
