That's 34 pints for the price you paid yesterday for 1 !

Mid 1970's anc it was in a pretty dingy student bar in the East Midlands so guess the price was deliberately kept as low as possible for that reason. That said, it was the regular price in that particular bar.

Think the price of a pint in the more regular pubs at that time was circa 35p. Still incredibly cheap.

£4.20 per pint in my local now and I suspect that is a bit below the average price.
