Yep. Refs generally always seem to miss quite how cynical they are

They are absolute masters of the theatrical dive, and constantly pile pressure on the refs. They also commit small fouls the instant they lose the ball to stop the other team playing, and often do this for the entire game without there being any meaningful action by the ref. They get the full bias advantage of “big” team against “small” teams.

Put that together with the fact that it’s all been entirely purchased with oil money and it’s pretty hard to “enjoy” what they offer.
