gerrard - I thought he had a good game. He made some decent passes, especially the 1-2 link up with beckham if you recall. Also he was working gary holt stylee and was not afraid to have a few cracks from way out. If your remember the england-germany 5-1 result he scored a stunner.

lampard - in the second half when we looked s**t he was the only player to make the paraguay goalie work. Could have won that game 2/3 nil had they gone in. My point is his shots were signals of intent.

beckham - need I say more? The guy was a different class today. Pinpoint passes and decent corners and crosses.

imo the midfield wasnt our problem, it was crouch alone by his f**king self that was. (scuse french)
