i've deffo got the distressed look lol. it's the eu that ballsed this up

according to a bloke on the youtubes anyway. apparently proper ye olde british paint stripper would dance through this but now they banned all the corrosive and carcinogenic chemicals so modern paint stripper is le rubbish. he did top tip me though, it works much better if you paint it on and cover it in clingfilm which means it doesn't dry out in 15 mins and works a lot longer. theres about 7 layers of paint on it now and the finish is dreadful so got no choice but to plough on now even if i want to paint it back again.
