I was having a thought about WC qualification the other night

The best way (in theory) to do it would be to have World qualifying groups, but then the majority of teh nations qualifying would be European & possible South American.

We would then lose s lot of the african and asian teams, this would be a shame, as it would no longer be a "world cup" in that sense, it would spoil it as a viewer to be unable to see the surprise element of these teams and teh way other nations play the game.

So in the end i decided the qualifying rounds are almost fair how they are, Greece knew what they had to do, they didnt do it and therfore dont deserve to be there. T&T knew what they had to do and did it (and they had to work hard at it!) and therefore deserve to be there
