Mum: " ... it were that coloured girl at ASDA ..."

Me: "Mum, you can't say that any more."

Mum: "Can't say what?"

Me: "'Coloured'. It's frowned upon."

Mum: "Well, when you get to my age, Matthew, you'll probably care as little as I do."
