No - the gym is good for getting rid of that weight.

But eating s**t really int going to help much. You don't need to live like a monk to lose weight and get fit, but the whole "I'm going to the gym tonight, so I can go to the chippy for lunch" mentality is counter productive.

Excersise regularly, eat well, don't booze it up too much, and the weight will go.
