There's no doubt that the play-offs as it is..

creates tremendous excitement throughout the season especially towards the end of the season. But this 3rd team going into the final idea is a little far fetched and incredibly biased from Sheepy's point of view. It's so obvious that it's pathetic. What would be more interesting is if they re-introduced play-offs like the old days when the teams at the (just above the relegation zone) bottom of the top div had to battle it out with teams at the top if the 2nd div.
