basis of squad equals who??

if he means, Green, Fleming, Shackell, Dury, Huckerby, Safri, McVeigh, McKenzie and a proven goal scorer in Earnshaw then we're talking players that played a massive role in "nearly" keeping us in the prem....on that basis i think hes right to say that, "the basis of the squad is good enough for us to mount a real challenge"....can't say i can dispute with what he's said there.....
