The future

Is it likely that we are not making any major signings because the board have realised our possible plight?

While we do have a relatively good basis for a good side, are they going to give Worthy limited funds over the summer, see how he goes for the first 6-10 games, determine the feeling in the ground and then by October/November let him go if we not where we need to be (ie top 6)?

Does this just leave it all too late, wasting a summer? Would they give him this last opportunity?

Depressing summer so far.
