A human being involved in a game of football made a mistake.

It won't be the only one made during that game, but only these ones apparently count.

There will always be mistakes with human referees, as all humans make mistakes, just like players make mistakes week in week out.

Until AI is officiating matches the choice will always be what sort of mistakes would we prefer?
