You are absolutely right. Supporting a team outside

the ‘big six’ can be infinitely more rewarding because ‘success’ doesn’t come as often and is therefore not expected.
My favourite Norwich memory is the Cardiff playoff final. That will be strange to many because we lost but I was about 20 at the time and up until then had only witnessed Norwich struggle to compete in the second tier due to off pitch issues, so just being there as a club, seeing all that yellow and green, feeling that atmosphere we created and coming so close just made me feel incredibly proud and grateful. And the emotional rollercoaster was absolutely knackering!
Pompey and charlton away for those promotion games come second and third and the Wembley playoff final doesn’t feel like it would even be in my top 5!
