It's a holiday here on Monday as well. Monday is also museum closing day, so no distractions from drinking ... Weather looks s**te today (overcast, chilly), but not sure about the rest of the weekend.
See if you can find a Copenhagen Post: Danish news in English, what's on and reliable restaurant & bar guides - free in some bars, otherwise you can get one at the railway station. Online: User Posted Link This is more comprehensive that I can give you right now, so pick the ones you fancy - I'll just provide a tip or two below ...
Christiania is utter s**te since they closed down the grass sellers a couple of years ago - now it seems only only populated by pissed and stoned scumbags. But Loppen sometimes puts on decent bands - tonight it's Brighton ska from The Hotknives ...
If you want to watch any football ignore The Dubliner on Stroget (although they do a fairly decent Irish breakfast and there are often lots of Danish women there for some reason) and head round the corner to Bloomsdays - good mixed ex-pat/Danish crowd, good music, good staff, Sky, etc. It's on Niels Hemmingsens Gade and down a few steps - you'll miss it if you're not careful. They usually have The Copenhagen Post as well.
There's several decent bars in Norrebro around Sankt Hans Torv - there's a great little cocktail bar, Mexibar I think, just off there - tiny, rammed, hot and full of girls (or was last time I was there). Just along the road is Rust for clubbing - quite variable though - doesn't look too bad tonight though.
There's several cafes and bars up Vesterbrogade. For food there's a great Alsace style restaurant called Les Trois Cochons at Larsbj?rnsstr?de 9 - set menu for about 20 quid, but really good: User Posted Link
In the centre check out Stereobar - sometimes empty, but great when lots of people in - there's a club part downstairs too. Loads of bars in the centre, but avoid the ones opposite Tivoli - they look tempting, but are invariably crap.
For bands and/or clubbing also try Vega in Vesterbro (above) - can't quite work out what's on tonight - probably normal club night.
Loads of restaurants in town, but about 30 seconds away from Bloomsdays is a small square with a couple of reasonably priced and good restaurants: Peder Oxe and B?f og Ost
