But I’d again blame the EPL grabbing the game and making it all about money. Visit Old Trafford now and it’s like a tourist attraction but I remember going in the 80’s and it was incredible. The demise of the FA Cup means that it just doesn’t have the same feeling of excitement and it’s your team being able to compete that creates excitement and atmosphere.
