Loud, angry protests can be incredibly intimidating no matter who is responsible for them.

However, wandering the street trying to whip up violence is not an every day experience anywhere at any time.

As for Rachel Riley - what she said was racist, she hasn't meaningfully apologised for it without a load of bulls**t caveats - and a period of quiet reflection may suit all parties.
