I walked round Trafalgar Square one Sunday afternoon

towards the end of one of the Palestine rallies on my way to Charing Cross

It felt very menacing. Loads of young men masked up with those chequered cloths running around, constant “from the river to the sea” chants and at least two small hard core groups chanting “Intafada Now”

I didn’t like it but I felt pretty intimidated and just kept my head down going for my train

This is not something I was told by a tabloid or a load of old s**te
