Interestingly an invisabilty cloak has been invented.

Using heat distortions/reflections to disrupt the visual spectrum.

Think when you look down a straight road in the summer and you see waves or water or even cars suddenly appear through a heat mirage.
What you are seeing is the heat reflecting an image of the sky.
