I played there a few times.

The most memorable was in a midweek game when our 3rd team lad got the wicket of their South African professional (I think he might have had an international cap too).

The other time I remember playing there was when England beat Spain on pelns in the euros. I watched that on a really small telly in the bar.

I don't know much about the owner. A couple of they lads are ok though
