Think so. He used to be with them but came to us cos he has taste and understanding.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. They're having a good season this term, won't take too long for the natural order to resume. He knows that as well as we do.

Can't call tomorrow. 2-2 again would not be a huge surprise tbh. Our players are better - of the two clubs ours would need fewer changes to have a shot of surviving in the prem, though we'd both need A Lot; their manager is amazingly good and will leave for a bigger club at some point (I'd laugh if it was Villa but I suspect McK will do better), their private equity folks (who just bought a chunk off the pension fund) will have their exit pre-planned. Wagner has proved me wrong but I still can't help feeling a different gaffer would get a better tune out of what we have (though we'll never know now). He's pretty decent in the chumps at FCR though and that's all we need for tomorrow.
