I think his arrogance, and I believe he thinks he has a reputation

For honesty and plain speaking (which I can understand),made overlook how his comments could be (mis?)construed.i didn't think he meant to be racist but I don't think a white council estate kid would've said what he said,so maybe he's subconsciously racist.
