Some new quotes here that I hadn't seen

From an article in athletic:

'As we know, the abuse towards people like me is completely OK because I’m in a privileged position. Obviously, abuse towards a black person or a woman is not OK. I’ve got my head around that and I’m completely cool with that.'

I guess this was the same time he made similar comments bemoaning the fact that people are allowed to abuse him because he's white. Why bring race into comments about abuse by football fans that has nothing to do with race? Womens football, the BK8 stuff and now these new comments.
