Or put a different way, it was a risk that was worth taking given how highly he was thought of, and as he’s showing now in Germany, there is a player in there even if we never got the best of him.

If he’d been here this season, would he have been better than Fassnacht? No idea, and we’ll never know.

I think a big part of it was he didn’t settle here for whatever reason and was never really happy. Shit happens.
