Depends what the fans saw as his target for the season

guessing most thought/hoped for play offs.
If he achieves that then yes, but at the point of the most anger that looked like it wasn’t going to happen and the players and him deserved criticism they are lucky to play or manage us and are paid very well for the privilege.
If the target is play offs for the club then he’s done the job he was asked to do, if he doesn’t then it’s up to them to decide what to do.
If we finish 7/8th the fans will probably look at this as a failure but at the moment the most important thing is it’s more fun to go and thats all that matters
