That's the wrong decision

They should move the Cup.

Reason being that if you win or lose the FA Cup Final, it makes no real difference to your preparations for next season.

If you win or lose the playoff final it makes a massive difference to what you need to do in the summer. The playoff winners are already disadvantaged compared to the other teams going up in terms of how long they have to prepare for a very very different challenge (staying in the Prem vs getting out of the chumps).
