That having about a 50% hit rate on successful transfers was about as good as these things get.

I think we've outperformed on transfers for quite a long time, but the finances give little room for error and we always need to look to buy 'works in progress'.

But yep, we look like we've got a more resilient starting 11 (not so reliant in just a couple of players). Sarge being the obvious critical link and strikers being the hardest area to recruit into.
