With it being tight distribution is important.

Obviously on away games to get 5 points ..

5 draws is superior to 1W 2D 2L with points totals being tight.

The interesting thing is of the remaining 9 games only the Preston game looks to have any significance both ways on who makes the playoffs.
Beating them could potentially be huge in eliminating them at that time.(If they aren't already out of it)

As for points distributions.
I did the analysis 4 games ago and it really hasn't changed much.

75 points has a high chance of getting in with 78 being almost a lock.
73 has a below average chance and 69-70 points being less than 1% in a distribution curve.
