Well that’s about as frustrating as it gets

Playing well and coasting against a really, really sh*t side. Then the ref ruins the game. Aylings tackle was worse but got no card. Howson’s tackle leading to the incident was arguably a red. Regardless of whether he left his leg in the air what Sainz did is not violent conduct or serious foul play. It’s just not.

But the way we capitulated was also disappointing. We cannot defend on the back foot, none of our defenders are good enough and the goals we conceded were all appalling. Also disappointed Wagner did not change anything until half time.

All a bit gutting.
