Generally, I think we’ve lost too many games. Too many defeats where we should have got a draw.

I’m not as anti Wagner as you by any stretch, but I don’t think he’s the future. If there was a manager that could get us playing like we did under lambert (appreciate some playing personnel changes needed too) I’d be all in.

Farke ball was wonderful, I loved those promotion seasons, but it’s not the model for teams going up. I don’t think we’ll ever have centre backs good enough to play out from the back in the PL, frankly, if we couldn’t do it with the technically gifted squad we had in farke’s first PL season, we won’t be able to ever do it (without a significant budget change). Whereas, I think a lambert style could work in this era, it wasn’t really that dissimilar to Brentford (although I’m sure some tactical analysis bell whiff will say otherwise).
