Watched loads of documentaries on it over the years

grew up watching it fly and was mesmerised by it, both disasters upset me as a kid. If you’re ever in New York go to the Intrepid air and space museum and get up close to one. There was no point in telling the crew, from what i’ve read Nasa weren’t sure either way on how it was going to go also sounds like there was disagreement about how serious the damage was.
