maybe look at other countries and see what they get up to

denmark for example does not require a jury for cases with a sentence tariff of less than 4 years. in cases where the sentence tarrif exceeds 4 years they have a professional juries that receive legal training on their duties roles and responsibilites and are salaried. i guess this helps stop people of just going with the flow just to get the f**k off home. not saying that's the best way to do it but it seems better to me.
