Agree to an extent - McKenna and the staff did well to build a championship team whilst still in L1 - hence after the Jan 23 window they absolutely tore it up.

His system works well and he brings in players he knows can follow it. Hence the apparent "greater than the sum of it's parts" results.

Maybe he can replicate this to a degree in the PL with the help of a few upgrades, or maybe we would just get tonked every week. But given the high chance that without promotion he will move upwards without us, can't see Ipswich getting as good an opportunity as we have now. So bring it on please!

In terms of injury cover, thanks to January signings we have a strong bench now for attack and midfield - the vulnerable spot is our fullbacks. What I would give to have our mutual friend Brandon back and firing on all cylinders, he was looking class for a game or two until 'personal issues' came to the fore.
