It really does. A terrible, terrible mistake.

It’s been pretty much all down since he left, which tells its own story.

I think he was much more important to the club culture than even his fans thought. He was never afraid of tough decisions, but he was nice, honourable, humorous. Blend that with Webber, who was arrogant and unpleasant, and you have a great combo. When you had Webber, and Dean Smith, it didn’t work. Smith just never really cared that. As a professional, he wanted to win of course, but he wasn’t here to build anything. Daniel always gave you the impression he was.

General sense is that since Farke left there been a general draining of talent out of the back room team. It’s what happens when you leave an arrogant asshole pretty much in sole charge, and he starts to play favourites.
