that was fantastic

for me the thrill of the World Cup seeing teams and players I hardly ever see go head-to-head. England are a bit of a distracation, since our players are so over-exposed here I'm well sick of them.
And it really pi**es me off when I am watching a great game between, say, Holland and Argentina and what analysis do I get at halftime? A tedious interview with some intellectually challenged England player from the team hotel. In the last WC ITV actually didn't show the 2nd half of one game ( a decent one) to show build-up (not the game, just f*cking crap buildup) for the England-Swden game.
None of that crap in USA 94 - although unfortunately Ireland (I'm sorry BBC/ITV, why should I support them????) stood in for England for a while.
