if we keep hold of him we are in a very strong position to go straight back up due in a large part to his goals, that promotion is worth 20 million to the club. When we get to the Prem he will imo score between 15-20 goals in a full premiership season which will i feel play a large part in keeping us up. That will mean will have another season in the prem which again is worth 20 million to the club. In scoring 15-20 goals Ashton will become the most sought after striker in the Premiership and we can probably expect a bidding war for his services meaning we could command a fee of 15 million approx. Selling him now for a poxy 8 million is akin to footballing suicide in terms of the clubs long term objective to become an established Premiership club.
